Who we are

SpecPilot (specpilot.dev) is run by Girish. For anything about your data, email hello@specpilot.dev.

Newsletter

If you sign up, we store your email address, whether you have confirmed, and when you signed up and confirmed. We use it only to send the SpecPilot weekly email.

Sign-up is double opt-in: nothing is sent beyond one confirmation email until you click the link in it. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. Email hello@specpilot.dev to have your address deleted entirely.

The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Cloudflare Zaraz, to see which pages are read. It runs only if you accept analytics in the cookie banner. You can change your choice any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Cookies and local storage

sp-theme remembers light or dark mode. sp-consent records that you made a cookie choice. sp-newsletter (browser storage) hides the sign-up card after you subscribe. None of these track you. Google Analytics sets its own cookies only if you consent.

Who processes your data

Cloudflare hosts the site and, like any web host, briefly logs requests (including IP addresses) for security and reliability. Supabase stores the newsletter list. Resend delivers the emails. Google receives analytics data only with your consent. These providers may process data outside your country under their standard contractual safeguards.

We do not sell or share your data with anyone else.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export, or delete the data we hold about you, or object to its use. Email hello@specpilot.dev and we will reply within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
